Called Cory yesterday at 4pm, who I have used before, with a LG split unit problem and he sent Josh Deweese out the next morning. It wasn’t cooling and he was very knowledgeable and explained what was going on and things areCool again. Thank you Cold Factor for fixing the unit in the Man cave and I’ll be using you for my home unit from now on ! Highly recommended.

We’ve been using Cold Factor for years now and are always impressed by their service and their pricing. We use their maintenance plan which is great because it keeps our system running longer and it gave us a heads up to plan financially for when we would need a new unit. They’ve also installed a filter on our system to kill viruses and bacteria which is HIGLY recommend, especially if you have kids in school!

Jason did an amazing job! He came out and immediately did tests other outfits just didnt do. Great service the technician diagnosed the issue very quickly and explained the charges before fixing. My AC unit was in dire need of maintenance and after the repair was working correctly almost immediately. Learned a lot about AC units in the meantime, excellent service.

I had an older review here about the quality service I received for some minor issues I had about a year or so ago. I can only leave one review per Google guidelines so I’m updating to reflect a recent full system install I did with Cold Factor. After an unfortunate issue, I had to replace the old system and went with a variable speed system. Install was a few hours and was without issue. Everyone was professional and it went pretty smooth. I was in contact with Jason as well as Cory most of the time and they really helped out. I had to learn a lot about the process and they made that fairly easy for me. Though I tried to go down the warranty route, they were patient with me. The education process took some time, during which he recommended I get a portable system (from Home Depot) so I didn’t have to make a decision too hastily. I loved that he didnt push me into a decision.Once I made the decision, the team was out here within a few days and got it installed. My AC decided to stop getting cool Monday night. Tuesday morning I called 6 different companies to try to get something booked. Everyone was booked for 1-2 days or more, understandable given how hot its been. Cold Factor originally told me they couldnt do same day but I booked a next day to get on the schedule. About 1 hr later they called with an opening and could have someone by noon same day. Bobby arrived within the window provided and had my AC up and running within an hour. And when I was emailed a copy of the invoice they included pics of readings. Highly recommend and would use again

So I'll start with the ding for 5 to 4 rating. Quoted service trip charge $159 or 149 and at the end I paid 199. Some will believe, he's upset unhappy because of price. That would be untrue. We've lived in Texas for 30 plus years. Scales felt imbalanced (time didn't seem commensurate to premium) in my opinion. Now fun part. Arrived early, kept in good contact for appointment, and great explaining the issue (condenser needed cleaning because unit blowing hot air) at hand. I recommend Cold Factor.
